Our Little Girl

I haven't had the chance to post anything lately we have been so busy with our kids. So here is the much needed update.
On the 14th of Oct I went into my doctors and they wanted to do an ultrasound to get a more accurate measurement of Kendell's weight. She was measuring well over 8 lbs. I was a little worried cause I still had a little less then two weeks to go and she was going to just get bigger.
I really didn't want to be induced I wanted to see what it was like to just go into labor. But because of her size we thought it was best to get induce.
My mom was coming out for the birth and to help with Caiden. She was a huge help. I was induce on the 25th the day before my due date. That morning around 2:30am I started to feel uncomfortable I didn't that I was having contractions.
At the hospital my water broke on its own and I was progressing on my own pretty well. I was in labor about 6 hours. I only had to push for 15 minutes then we had a beautiful 9lb 3 oz baby girl.

Trevor and I both fell in love with her as soon as she was born. She is a little angel. Caiden had no clue what was going on. He was mad at me when I got home from the hospital he would not even look at me. He didn't like that Trevor and I left him. So glad my mom was there to help entertain him. That same week end Caiden started to walk. He didn't want Caiden to have all the attention.

Caiden really didn't pay much to Kendell at first but now he will hold her and give her kisses. He is really sweet with her. Some times he gives her to much love.
Trevor and I are learning how to manage life with two kids. Kendell is a really good baby only really cries if she is hungry or tired. She is better sleep then Caiden. She is really calm and good. She is so sweet.
Heavenly Father has really blessed us with to wonderful children. We love them so much!!!

Little things Caiden does.
1. He loves to watch videos of himself on the iPhone. He will shove it in my face until I play one.
2. He walks on his knees to get places
3. He stops drops and rolls if he is thirsty. He will scream and lye you know he wants a drink.
4. He loves turning on and off lights
5. He enjoys being outside and going on walks in the morning
6. He is getting really good at walking. He didn't start really walking until a couple weeks ago. He is a late walker 16 months.
7. He examines all food before he puts it in his mouth. He is an extremely picky eater.
8. Loves to climb on things especially the twin bed in his room.
9. He knocks on any door that is shut.
10. He will crawl in to the laundry basket like a tunnel even if there are clothes in it

Our Little Girl's Name is ....

When we had Caiden we didn't tell anybody the name. It was fun having it as a secret. But this time we aren't doing that. They original plan was to have 3 names to bring with us to the hospital and then name her after she was born. But I can't wait that long.
One night I told Trevor that I really wanted to pick a name. First we choose a middle name Margaret that is my Grandma's name. I called her and told her the middle name. Her reaction was so cute. She said, "Really after me!!" She was in shock. It was so sweet.
After we had a middle name we picked the first name our 3 names that we like are Josie, Anslee, and Kendell.
Her name will be KENDELL MARGARET BROWN!

Kellyn Came to Visit

After we got back from New Jersey visiting family life has slowed down a bit. But we did get a visit from Kellyn. She came to visit us here in Dallas. It was great to have her here. When she was here Kellyn and I got to go see Taylor Swift in concert! It was such a fun show. Taylor is a really good performer. She really knows how to put on a show. The show was sold out at the Dallas Stadium I think that there was 55,000 people there. It was packed. I think the worst part of the night was the traffic leaving the show. You know your are stuck in traffic when GPS asked if we wanted to switch pedestrian mode. I am so glad that we got to go to the show.

We all got to go to the Dallas Aquarium. It was fun but we went on a holiday it was PACKED with families so we didn't stay as long as we normally would have! But Caiden loved seeing the sting rays they are still his favorite thing there.

Another thing that we did with Kellyn when she was here was we went to the mall. There are some huge malls in the Dallas area. They are fun to walk around they have some of the really high end stores there that I could not even afford a sock from.

Just before Kellyn had to head back to Jersey I had a sonogram to find out what we are having. I was so excited I couldn't really sleep the night before. When I was sitting in the office waiting to be called back the baby was moving all around. I had a feeling that they might have trouble finding out the sex of the baby. I was right. The baby would go from having the thighs closed to sitting Indian style so the heels would be in the way. I had to keep moving side to side to see if the baby would move.  But at the end of the appointment we did find out that we are having a GIRL!!! We are so excited. I had a feel it was a girl! I love being right! I was right with Caiden too! Both of our families are excited for us. My mom already sent a box of baby girl clothes! She is a wonderful!

Update!

Not a ton has happen since I last wrote. In the beginning of April Trevor's Mom came to visit us. She was here in Dallas for 4 days the time sure did fly by. Trevor was only able to see her for a day then he had to fly out to Arizona for work. I am so happy that I got some time with Barbara it was fun to watch her with Caiden.
I think one of my favorite times was when we went to the Dallas Aquarium it was so much fun. Caiden's favorite animal there is the sting ray. I think its because he can see it up close. My personal favorite was the shark/ big fish feeding.
It was so nice to have Barbara here in Dallas she got to see what are life is like in Dallas. It was good to have some adult company when Trevor was gone too.

At the moment Caiden and I are in New Jersey! We have been here a week Trevor was here with us last week. It has been so good to be with family. Caiden has changed so much since Christmas time that was the last time we visited. He is so much more interactive with every one. He loves his uncles! He is really good at climbing all over them.
We have been able to see my Grandma how is in a nursing home. It brightens up her day. It was so funny to see Caiden and Grandma walking down the hall way together. They had a race Caiden won.  We will be flying back home on Saturday. It will be sad to leave but it will be nice to be back with Trevor.
I will include picture with the next post!

Pregnancy update:
I am 15 weeks and 2 days. I am over my morning sickness. It was not been super bad this time but I am pretty sure that I tossed my cookies more this pregnancy then with Caiden. For a while I could not eat Chicken even the thought of it made me feel sick. Smells still really bother me a lot. But I am loving the second trimester much better then the first.
We will be finding out the sex of the baby at the end of the month with Caiden I thought it was a boy this time I have no idea.  My Mom is calling it a girl. I guess we will see in just a few weeks. We have 3 names for each sex. I don't think we will pick a name until the baby is in our arms.

Boy
Carson
Cooper
Conner

Girl
Anslee
Josie
Kendell

Trevor, Caiden, and I have some exciting news. Caiden will be a big brother in October. I am due October 26. Trevor and I are so excited and feel so blessed to be able to bring another Child of God into this world. Caiden will be 18 months old when we have this new little baby. I have a feeling that we will have our hands full. But I am looking forward to this new chapter in our life.

My pregnancy so far has been really good. I have definitely have had morning sickness and days where I have to force myself to eat.  But for the most part I feel pretty good. I have been working really hard to eat healthy and working out 5 days a week. Trevor has been a huge help and support with this.
