Kellyn Came to VISIT!!

Kellyn came and visited us this past week. It was a blast to have her here with us.
 Caiden really enjoyed her aunt.  Here are a few highlights of the week:

1.       Caiden is a pro at peeing on people. Kellyn seemed to be his target this week. I believe she got peed on at least 3 times if not more.

2.       I loved seeing Kellyn hold Caiden. He is a cuddlier and loves being held.

3.       We took a walk up to Campus and saw Trevor. It was a first time Caiden has been to school. Trevor showed him to people that he worked with.

4.       Kellyn and I went to the mall with Caiden. We were looking for something for Caiden to where for his blessing on Friday. Caiden was a little grumpy he did not want to be in the stroller.

5.       Our family really enjoys the Restaurant Famous Dave’s. We went there for lunch after we went to the mall. It was Caiden’s first time there.  

6.       Caiden really enjoys getting a bath (just kidding). Kellyn was able to experience the joys of bathing Caiden.

It was a really good week. I really enjoyed having her here. Hopefully Caiden will have some cousins soon. So we can visit Jersey and play!! 

This week Mom and Dad are coming out for a visit. We are having Caiden blessed on Friday night. Trevor’s family will be here for a couple of days too. It will be great to have everyone here for Caiden. He is going to be one month this week. I am not sure where the time went. I love being a Mom. I am surprised at how natural it feels.  I love our little Family. Trevor and I are so happy to have this sweet little boy in our life.

Caiden James Brown

Trevor and I welcomed little Caiden James into our family on May 21, 2012 at Madison Memorial Hospital. I was induced at 8 am in the morning. Dr.Lovell came and broke my water that was such a weird feeling. They also started me on the pitocin to start my contractions. Trevor and I watched movies. I really didn't feel painful contractions until around noon.I keep telling Trevor and the nurse that I didn't want them to think I was a wimp for getting an epidural. But they both told me that nobody would think I was a wimp. Epidurals are amazing. A few hours I started to feel contractions even with the epidural in. So the nurse called someone and they gave me an other shot of the medication. After that I honestly could not feel a thing. It was wonderful Around 5pm the nurse came in and checked me. I was ready to start pushing a half hour later at 5:36pm we had a beautiful little boy!

As soon as he was born I got to hold him for just a minute. It was an amazing feeling to hold him for the first time. I just fell in love with him. Then they took him to clean him up and to measure him. I remember the whole time I just wanted him back in my arms.

Caiden is a sweet baby boy. He is really good. He really only fusses when he need something. Trevor and I are enjoy him. We have learned a lot only in the short two weeks he has been with us.

Trevor's Mom was able to come up with her fiance Dennis to spend the day with us.

My Mom was here for two weeks after Caiden was here. We are both so grateful that she was able to come out. She was a huge help to us. Plus this is her first grand baby so she was loving be here to spend time with him.

This coming week Kellyn is going to visit and help us! We are so excited to have her come.
